About Me:
Hello world my name is Dan Foley. I am a cinematographer, writer, director, and actor based out of Cincinnati Ohio. In college I majored in Theatre Performance and now I'm back in school working towards a degree in Digital Cinematography. While I've spent most of my career as an actor I've always had a love for the film making process even as a young boy I had a passion for film making. I wrote my first screenplay when I was eight and started making movies on my fathers VHS camcorder when I was ten. I would collaborate with friends on script ideas then when it came time to film I would create sets within my room using cardboard boxes and other house hold items. Lighting was done with desk lamps, Christmas lights, flash lights etc. Though my budget was small my productions were larger than life. High quality low budget has always been my mission. Now that I am older I have studied screenwriting, directing, set and lighting design, stage combat, management, script analysis and much more. Equipped with new tools and knowledge I've gone back to my roots of producing High Quality, Low Budget cinematography.
