Then in February of 2012 and quite by accident, I found Poptent. I convinced three others to join me in founding a film group. We all have a love of film. We all have the desire to work in the industry. We plan on making commercials and shorts films and entering them into contests. We plan to each learn every role associated with the process. From writing a script, to operating a camera, to lighting a set, to directing a scene, creating special effects, creating CGI and yes, even acting. Once we have learned / begun perfecting our craft we will be interested in collaborating. Until then...
We are FIlm Group 4
(Ian Milne, Adam Milne, Cobus Gerber & Jeremy Choy)
We are happy to meet you.

"Sorry to keep leaving these questions on your wall … If there is a better place please let me know. Do we need releases to use photos of famous places? The great Wall of China for example. What about of the front of local pizza huts? is it the place that requires permission or rather we only a form if we don't take the picture ourselves? A business that is open to the public can't refuse to let us take a picture from the street can they? Also, isn't pizza but one company (not a franc..." "Hey Dan, Question about the project briefs. I'm new here at poptent having just completed my submissions to my first project (white sox) and I am a little surprised at the amount of videos that do not follow the outline set up in the project brief. Granted, several of my favorite videos went way off base. My question is: How much does this matter? Is it truely the best idea / video or does staying true to the requested guidelines impact *your* approval of the submission or the *brands* accep..." "Hey Dan, Question about the project briefs. I can imagine you are all pretty busy over there right now. Thanks for your time, Ian" (more)
